
Two top experts on decision making came together for a discussion of probabilistic thinking in the age of the coronavirus.
Prof. Don Moore, who studies overconfidence, interviewed Annie Duke, a decision strategist and former professional poker champion. Duke is the author of the national best-seller “Thinking in Bets: Making Smarter Decisions When You Don’t Have All the Facts” and the forthcoming “How to Decide: Simple Tools for Making Better Choices.” She won more than $4 million in tournament poker before retiring from the game in 2012. Duke is the co-founder of The Alliance for Decision Education, a non-profit whose mission is to improve lives by empowering students through decision skills education. Moore is the author of “Perfectly Confident: How to Calibrate Your Decisions Wisely.”
